Thomas Furness Obituary

FURNESS III, THOMAS EDWARD went to be with the Lord on December 9 2004. Tommy was born October 16, 1976. He left behind his wife Melody, whom he fell in love with seven years ago; her son, Bryan; and their 11 month old son, Tommy IV; his dad, Tom Furness, Jr.; and his wife, Debbie and her children, Julie and Joey; his mom, Kathy Gore and her husband Grant; paternal grandmother, the late Carolyn Straley and paternal grandfather, the late Tom Sr.; maternal grandparents, Pat and Kay; aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends too many to list. Tommy was the 3rd generation to work in the family owned business at Furness' Furniture Care in Pine Castle. He spent his short 28 years bringing joy, laughter and happiness to his family, friends and anyone he met along his journey. He loved his family with all his heart and constantly strived to bring peace and happiness to them. He spent his last two years helping around the Foundation for Life Ministries, taking to the men that were there to overcome Alcohol and Drug Addiction, giving them a shoulder to lean on. In lieu of flowers, the father requests that donations be made to Foundation for Life Ministries, at P.O Box 593383, Orlando, FL 32859-3383. Family will be receiving friends at their home at 418 Cinnamon Bark Ln., Orlando, Monday, December 13, 4PM-6PM and the viewing will be at Robert Bryant Funeral Home, 321 E. Michigan St., from 6PM-8PM. Services will be at 8PM.
