Brosche Family,

I knew Tom from working with him and Ecolab Inc. In my eyes he was a strong and stern man who knew how to get the job done yet at the same time in his own way put a smile on any face. My heart goes out to the entire Brosche family along with many many prayers. A new guardian angel has touched the clouds above.

Sandy, Chris and Mark,

What a beautiful service today and last night to bring something positive to such a senseless tragedy. Few people have such an awesome character that, even in their death, they continue to inspire others to want to be that same kind of person. What a legacy to leave behind for friends and family to not only admire, but to strive to emulate. We count it a privilege and a blessing to have known such a fine man as Tommy. It was very obvious as we heard Chris and Mark pay tribute to their dad that his legacy of strength, kindness and compassion will live on through them. I know that God has brought you through some tragic times before, Sandy, and I have no doubt He'll wrap His arms of love around you tighter than ever before and bring you through this one, too.

Our thoughts and continual prayers are with you as you face the days ahead.

January 8, 2005

Dear Sandy and family,

My brother, Ken Jarman, called my on Friday to tell me about Tom and ask if I remembered him. Ken had done work on your house several years ago. I have to say that I am still reeling from the information. Sandy, I am so sorry, and I would never presume to say I understand how you feel, but I hope you know that even the heart of God is broken when one of His own is hurt.

He will always be there for you even though we can make no sense of this tragedy. I just want you to know that even to this day I still admire the way the two of you had such a wonderful relationship even back in high school and that you managed to hold on to that love all these years, adding apparently wonderful children as well - how could you have done less. I know I haven't kept in touch all these years , but I remember both you and Tom with fondness. He was the kind of husband and father we all dream of ending up with. My heart goes out to each of you and you will be in my prayers. The Lord will see you through this. Fondly, Terri

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and remember everytime you see a butterfly or feel a breeze that he is with you watching over and protecting you. God bless you, your children and the rest of his family.

My heart is breaking at the news of my old friend's death. I met Tommy in the first grade and used to love to hang out at the "Brosche" house on Brosche road. Dear Sandy, Christopher and Mark,

We were so shocked to hear about Tom. Floods of memories came to mind when we realized the magnitude of this horrible tragedy. I'll never forget him coming by to see me almost every day while I was in the hospital just after we graduated from high school. You and Tom were so good to help Chuck and I transition back into Orlando after being away for so long. Chuck thought so much of Tom and enjoyed the times they played golf together, etc. He was a role model to so many people. Our prayers will be with all of you. I can't imagine being in your shoes but I know that God can and will provide you with the strength needed to get through this. We love you, Chuck, Denise and Family

God bless you all.

When I was so small, I looked up at this giant in awe, gentle and strong and his name was Tommy Brosche. He was an incredible person, with manners and enormous compassion for others, which was a result from his wonderful family. Tommy was one of my brother's closest friends and best man in his wedding; we grew up with Tommy as if he was part of our family. Because of Jon and Tommy’s brother-like friendship, our mother and father entrusted the Brosche family to watch over Jon, in his own family’s absence. Sadie and Leo, my heart goes out to you and all the Brosche family. Sandy, Mark, and Chris, I can’t imagine being in your shoes and walking in your footprints, just know that God is with you and will be there to carry you through this painful time. With much love.

I first met Tom when he was a Coach in SAY Baseball for the EcoLab Team in 1988-89 seasons. Our sons were 6-7 years old back then and my son always wanted to play for Coach Brosche and the EcoLab team, but he was stuck with George Guffy & me on the Signature Pools team. Tom not only impressed the young boys back then, but he had the respect and admiration of other coaches and even the mothers involved in SAY. I remember the mothers in the concession stand once saying when Coach Broche walked by "Oh my, what nice legs that coach has!" Our heart felt sympathy goes out to Sandy, Chris, and Mark, the entire Brosche family and community in which Tom gave so much of himself to the youth. Orlando will truly miss this individual. God Bless - Frank & Linda Fielder and family.

Tom was a dear friend of mine. The best man in my wedding 27 years ago, my next door neighbor in the apartment I lived in when I first moved to Orlando, and a continued friend over the years. He had such a sweet spirit, as a loyal friend to anyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by me and everyone who made contact with him over these 50 years. Sandy, you have an abundance of friends for support, my deepest sympathy to you and your boys, and Tom's family. I know that all of you have such great memories to reflect upon, as I do. May these memories fill your mind at this time and in the future. Love you!
