William "Bill" Couture

1948 - 2020

William (Bill) Couture, 72, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2020 due to COVID-19 related issues at the Select Specialty Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
Bill was born June 28, 1948 in Lowell Massachusetts to Henry and Gertrude (Langlais) Couture. After graduating from Lowell High School with honors in 1967, Bill went to Lowell Tech which is now part of the University of Mass. He studied Mechanical Engineering and was on the track team, in the math and science club and was also a scuba diver.
Growing up, Bill collected tropical fish. His favorite hobby was photography. He built a darkroom in his closet and developed his own pictures. He even had his work posted in the local Lowell Sun newspaper. Bill never married. He had a great sense of humor. He moved from Lowell Massachusetts in the late 80's to Bradenton, Florida, where he lived for over 25 years.
Bill's siblings were Robert Couture, Bradenton FL., Richard (Rebecca) Couture, Arden NC., Lorraine (Michael) LaFlamme, Kissimmee FL., and Daniel Couture, Lowell MA. He also had several nieces and nephews and their children.
Bill will be interred at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church in Sarasota, FL. where his mother's interred.
