James Clifford Gilliam Jr.

JAMES CLIFFORD GILLIAM JR James Clifford Gilliam Jr., age  77, of Mio, MI, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at his home. James was born in Tiny, Virginia, on August 9, 1948, a son of James Clifford Gilliam, Sr. and Bonnie (Pryor) Gilliam. He moved to Oxford, Michigan, and graduated from Oxford High School. He moved to Mio, following his retirement, after working as a master mechanic his whole life. James enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing bass guitar in a band. Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Susanne, children: Jamie, Kelli, Jason, Juli, Drake, and Angel; grandchildren: Sherry, Judy, Alexia, Sydnie, Madelyn, Seth, Kendal, Owen, Bryce, Hayden, Lanie, Benny, and Marnie; Sisters: Pat and Mary, and his brother Jeff. James was preceded in death by his parents, James & Bonnie, and a brother, Paul. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2026. Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.
