Shirley Blair Obituary

SHIRLEY A. BLAIR Shirley A. Blair, age 88 of Fairview, Michigan, was called home by her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Shirley was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on November 27, 1935, to Raymond and Helen (Finley) Kruse, Sr. The family moved to Mio in 1977. Shirley owned and operated Blair's Service with her husband Bill for 4 years. She also owned and operated Ma Blair's Restaurant with her daughters and was a "Grandma" at Mio AuSable Schools for over 15 years. Shirley loved her family and friends. She also loved reading, playing Euchre, crocheting, and making blankets for her children and grandchildren. She especially loved "Survivor" nights, going to the casino, and cooking. She made the best cinnamon rolls. Shirley is survived by her children: Ray (Kathy) Fuhr of Point Place, OH; Danny Fuhr of Livonia, MI; Mike (Wendy) Fuhr of Mio, MI; Julie (Pat) Grzelak of Linwood, MI; Cindy Fuhr of Walkerton, IN; Michelle (Todd) Bugg of Fairview, MI; Sandy (Michael) Oetting of Monroe, MI; and Henry (Ruthann) Blair of Mio, MI; her siblings: Jimmy, Tommy, Carol, Norma, and Judy; 23 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Blair, her son Timothy Fuhr, 2 grandsons: Trevor Fuhr and Josiah Gill, 2 brothers: Micky and Kenny Kruse, 1 sister Janet Reed, and 1 daughter-in-law Debra Fuhr. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The ashes will be intermented at Kittle Cemetery, Mio, MI, at a later date. Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI.
