Elmer F. Hielsberg

1934 - 2025

Elmer F. Hielsberg, age 91, passed away on December 7, 2025, at Waterford Memory Care, in Waterford, Wisconsin. Elmer was born on January 26, 1934, in Oshkosh, WI, son of Elmer and Alma Hielsberg. He was a dedicated employee at Kimberly-Clark for more than 30 years. Elmer served his country in the Army. He married Judith L. Mugeraurer, on May 3, 1958, in Oshkosh. Elmer enjoyed watching sporting events of his children and grandkids and was an avid Packers Fan. He enjoyed taking week-long bus trips visiting sites across the United States and playing the slot machines. He was a lifelong member of Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Elmer is survived by his son, Mark (Dana) Hielsberg and daughter, Beth Dahlke (Jeff); sister, Lucille Koch; grandchildren, Adam, Taylor (Kevin) Forman and Brandon. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer (Alma) Hielsberg; his wife, Judith Hielsberg; his son, Steven Hielsberg; brothers, Arnold Hielsberg, Robert Hielsberg and Gordon Hielsberg; and sister, Ruth Gerth. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Riverside City Cemetery in Oshkosh, WI at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to Waterford Community Food Pantry 455 S. Jefferson St. Waterford, WI 53185. The family would like to thank the staff at Waterford Memory Care and Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful and loving care of Elmer. And Pastor Bill Busch at Waterford Community Church for all his kindness and prayers.
