Terrence Dibble Obituary

Terrence Alan "Terry" Dibble, age 70, of Berlin, died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 9, 2022, after a long battle with dementia.

He was born April 1, 1951, in Watertown, WI, the son of Perry and Alfrieda Petersen Dibble. Terry was a 1969 graduate of Berlin High School and received a degree in accounting from Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac. On May 12, 1973, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Charlene Rogers, whom he shared 48 wonderful years of marriage.

Terry retired from UW-Oshkosh after working 25 years in the Student Accounts and Receivable Department as well as the Financial Services Department. He loved driving and pulling a pop up camper across the U.S. and was able to capture all the beauty he saw on his camera. He loved photography and was the photographer for Berlin Youth Wrestling Club . He treasured the many family memories he was able to make over the years. Terry was also co-owner of Wizard Arcade in Berlin and a member of Berlin United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene; daughter, Kelly (Jon) Lippert; son, Shane (Tabitha) Dibble; three beautiful granddaughters, Sydney Lippert, Alexis Dibble and Addison Colegrove; mother-in-law, Gloria Rogers; sisters and brothers-in-law; Godmother, Doris Petersen; canine companion, Cora; and many other relatives and friends. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Dibble; sister, Beverly Blackman; father-in-law, Merlin Rogers; and brother-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Rogers.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Berlin United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Larry Rieck officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
