After suffering a lifelong condition of heart disease, Arthur Paul Neumann, 66, passed away peacefully at his home in Traverse City, from congestive heart failure, on April 21, 2011. Art was born in Port Huron on March 19, 1945 and was raised in Centerline. He graduated from Centerline High School in 1963, then joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1972. Also in 1972 he graduated from Ferris State College with a bachelors degree in business. Art held many jobs as a salesman over the course of his fulfilled life, his longest stint with National Cash Register Company (NCR) and AT&T.
Arthur was one of three children born to the late Roy and Mary Eleanor (Matthews), and was the beloved husband of Carolyn Ann (Lee) for almost 40 years. Art is survived by his brother, Larry Neumann; and his sister Jan (Martin). He is also survived by his beloved daughter and son-in-law, residents of Midland, Lori (Neumann) and Ryan Pritchard; and his grandson, Porter. He is also survived by countless other friends and family who were blessed to know him. Art loved his family and enjoyed being a source of humor and laughs for everyone he came to know. He enjoyed boating, and spending time with his family.
Art touched the lives of many people with his smile and laughs, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. At this time, there is not a funeral planned. A small memorial will be scheduled sometime in the near future. The family requests that anyone wishing to make a donation on behalf of Art, to please consider the American Heart Association www.heart.org. Arrangements are entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home, Pinconning, www.leeramsayrivertownfh.com

So Sorry to hear this, only remember Art when we were neighbors, he was a fun guy to talk to, enjoyed his humor. Talked to your mom yesterday, best of luck in completing your new home in Midland. Was a pleasure watching you grow up and marry such a wonderful young man.
Love;
