On November 29, 2025, Brian Hudson passed away into the arms of Jesus at the age of 61. He was a beacon of light that shone bright in the eyes of all who knew him. Brian was born to his loving parents, Robert and Geraldine (Otey) Hudson, in Midland on August 02,1964.
Family was of the utmost importance to Brian, and he looked forward to spending time with them. In addition to his parents, Brian was loved and cared for by his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a loving brother to Norman (Kim) Hudson, and uncle to Cody Hawthorne, Jordan Hudson, and Katie Hudson.
In addition to his brother, Brian was welcomed home to heaven by his grandparents, Kenneth and Dorotha Otey, Francis and Thelma Hudson.
Brian graduated from Bullock Creek High School in 1984 and dedicated many years of service as a custodian at Northwood University, where he was well-respected by his colleagues for his dependability and kind nature.
Brian was a sports enthusiast with a particular passion for Detroit teams, cheering on the Loons, Tigers, Lions, and Redwings. He was also known for his skill in making impressive 3-point shots. His love for nature was evident in his frequent trips to Sault Saint Marie and scenic drives to admire wildlife and the fall colors.
Brian's life will be celebrated with a service starting at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Mt. Haley Church of God. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 am until the start of the service. Private burial will be in Lee Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Haley Church of God. The Hudson family is being cared for by Wilson Miller Funeral Home.
