David Andrew Fraleigh, son of Ronald and Joyce (Hammond) Fraleigh, died on June 25, 2011, in his home. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on April 14, 1965. On May 21, 1998, he was proud to become a U.S. citizen.
David lived in Midland most of his life, attending Dow High School. He worked in the accounting department at Community Mental Health and later at the United Way of Midland County. Until his death, he was working in Gladwin at The Arnold Center.
David was an outdoorsman and loved fishing, hiking and just spending time in nature. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed creating a beautiful garden at his home with his good friend and master gardener, Bill Mudget. David loved animals. He especially loved his dog, AJ, whom he rescued. He leaves his beloved cat, Harry, and his massively beautiful tropical fish tank. David also loved the music of his youth (the 70's) and motorcycles.
Family was important to David and he leaves his father and mother; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Andrea Fraleigh (Bill Meurer) and Allison (Ian) Burg. He was preceded in death by his beloved Nanna and Bop.
David touched the lives of many people in a positive way and was especially close to Beth Keenan, Carol Wallace, Lahoma Franz, Buddy Goldsworthy and Jan Lampman. He was grateful to his family for their love and thankful to all who helped him live with dignity along the way Please share your memories of David through www.waresmithwoolever.com
