Dennis Badour Obituary

Dennis Gene Badour, 58, went home to be with the Lord on Christmas day, Dec. 25, 2006.

He was born on Feb. 3, 1948, in Midland and spent his entire life here. Dennis was the seventh child born to the late Alfred and Beatrice (Taylor) Badour. After graduation from the first graduating class of Bullock Creek High School, he worked briefly for Saginaw Steering Gear. Dennis loved spending time with his family and in the outdoors. He helped several family members build their homes. Denny's life demonstrated that all people are given a special gift, with his, he taught his siblings, nieces and nephews how to experience and give unconditional love. He will be greatly missed.

Dennis is survived by 11 brothers and sisters, Jerry (Judy) Badour of Canton, Leroy (Juanita) Badour of Higgins Lake, Randy (Jamie) Badour of Ewen, Jeff Badour of Midland, Rosalie Bush (Bill Summers) of Midland, Janis (Chuck) Gorz of Beverly Hills, Fla., Marlene (Jeff) Johnson of Daniel, W.Va., Julie Badour of Wells, N.Y., Linda (Ken) Feusse of Auburn, Cynthia (Mike) McLaughlin of Freeland and Suzanne Knott of Waller, Texas.

The funeral liturgy will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at St Brigid's of Kildare Catholic Church, with Deacon Al Oliver officiating. Rite of committal will follow in New Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

I never knew Dennis @ BCHS as he was a big Senior and I was a lowly freshman. What I can remember, he was to be emulated by the classes that followed the pioneer class.

May Denny's family receive comfort and strength from God, our Heaven-ly Father; Jesus, His Only True Son; and the Holy Spirit, our Para-clete and Comforter.
