Ernest Prince Obituary
Ernest attended Gordonville School and later served his country in the U.S. Army in Germany from February 1955 to September 1957. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, watching his children and grandchildren play sports and was a fan of all Michigan sports teams.
Ernest is survived by his wife, Dixie Lee (Burgess) whom he married Feb. 5, 1999; and children, Elizabeth Musselman, Norman Vinson, Beverly (Craig) Werner, Jan (William) Henry, Kevin (Shari) Prince, Dawn (Ronnie) Guariglia, Ken Shauger and Christine Shauger Moore. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Barb) Prince, William (Karen) Prince, Robert (Darlene) Prince; step-sister, Charlotte (Ed) Pinnow; and sister-in-law, Polly Prince. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, B. Jane Prince; a daughter, Jackie Woods; a granddaughter, Erica Musselman; and brothers, Ronald and Dan Prince.
Funeral services for Ernest will take place 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 at Ware-Smith- Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 W. Wheeler St. Pastor Jacob Behnken of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will officiate with interment to follow in Homer Cemetery. Ernest's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Rather than flowers, the family asks memorials be directed to MidMichigan Home Care, the charity of one's choice or to please consider donating plasma.

I will really miss you Ernie. You were always a good friend to me. I enjoyed selling you and your family cars at Dirk Waltz and then at Garber's in Saginaw. You had the sweetest Nascar model car collection. I always appreciated you sharing that with me. Go with God, Ernie. You were always a Prince of a guy.
