Jack S. Jetton, 38, of Moscow, Tenn., and former Midland resident, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015 in Tennessee. He was born July 27, 1977 in Saginaw, son of Edith (Griffus) Jetton of Gainesville, Ga., and the late Walter Jetton. Jack attended schools in Midland, and was a former employee of Brandle Roofing in Midland before moving to Tennessee six years ago. He was currently employed in Tennessee by the Jolly Roofing Co. Jack was a "special dad to his children" and a "special friend to his friends."
Surviving are his children, Jacob, Zachery, Jackson and Olivia; one brother, Robert Jetton and his wife Julie of Midland; and his sisters, Cindy Sutter and her husband, John of St. Helen, Barb Jetton, Ruby Saunders and her husband Joe, and Billie Jo Jetton, all of Gainesville, Ga.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his father, Jack was preceded in death by one sister, Tammy Jetton; one brother, Walter Jetton Jr.; and his infant brother, Phillip Jetton.
Funeral services for Jack will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street, Midland. Bishop Cecil Place of the Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints Church will officiate, with burial to take place Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, in the Midland City Cemetery. Jack's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 1 p.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Jack's family.
