James Wesley Beebe
James Wesley Beebe, age 85, of Breckenridge passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, at his home with his family by his side. He was born November 15, 1939, in Midland the son of Clare and Mable (Newman) Beebe. James proudly served his country in the United States Army, and continued his service in the National Guard for many years, until his honorable discharge. He married Joan K. Hungerford on November 5, 1961.
James worked for Dow Chemical for over 30 years as a welder, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and listening to Blue Grass Music. He was a faithful member of the Mt. Haley Church of God.
James is survived by his children Bryan Beebe, Jeffrey (Tanya) Beebe, Tina (Tony) Juhas, Tonya (Mike) Wollenweber, Dennis Beebe; grandchildren Sarah (Simon) Reinbold, Taren Beebe, Lance Juhas, Kelcie (Johnny) Brown, Adam (Kayla) Beebe, Colton (Kalyssa) Beebe, Ashlynn (Tyler) Gulick, Madyson Beebe, Kennedy Beebe; 10 great grandchildren with one more on the way; his sisters Sue Kretz, Donna Witkop; and sister-in-law Mary Ann (Ronald) Cross.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joan; granddaughter Amber; brothers-in-law Ronald Kretz, Marty Whitkop; and his parents.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Haley Church of God. Interment will follow in Homer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Mt. Haley Church of God.
