JoAnn Roman Obituary

JoAnn Marie Roman
JoAnn Marie Roman, beloved wife, devoted mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, in Branson, Mo., at the age of 79. Born on July 23, 1946, in Saginaw, Mich., she was the treasured daughter of Herman and Viola Glawe and grew up alongside her siblings, Glenn and Carol Glawe in Midland, Mich.
She attended St. John's Lutheran School and graduated high school in Midland. JoAnn wed the love of her life, Fred Roman on July 31, 1964 in Midland and together they raised their sons. As the loving mother to Gregory, Jeffrey, and Brian, JoAnn instilled values of kindness, love, and the importance of family ties. Along with being a wife and mother, she also had a fulfilling career in retail sales. After moving to Branson from Lees Summit a decade ago, JoAnn devotedly attended Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
An avid collector of unique items, JoAnn's home told the story of her many adventures and the countless memories she made with her family and friends. Her fondness for animals was evident to all who knew her. She also had a great enthusiasm for sports. Above all, she loved her family.
She will be profoundly missed by her husband, Fred Roman of Branson; sons, Gregory Roman of Vero Beach, Fla., Jeffrey Roman (Karla) of Franklin, Tenn., and Brian Roman (Rhonda) of Ozark, Mo.; her brother, Glenn Glawe of Midland and sister, Carol Glawe of Midland; as well as her grandchildren, Jonathan Roman (Shana), Brookelyn Roman, Alexander Roman, Makenna Roman, and Makiley Roman, and great-grandson, Zachary Roman.
In JoAnn's memory, donations are suggested to the Branson Humane Society, 2837 Shepherd of the Hills Expy, Branson, MO 65616
