Judith Hubbard
Judith T. Hubbard, 83, of Midland, passed away September 27, 2025 at her home with family by her side. She was born February 5, 1942 in Midland, daughter of the late Freeman James and Mabel Marie (Roscoe) Ensign. Judy lived her entire life in Midland and graduated from Midland High School. On September 22, 1979, she married John E. Hubbard and the two shared a life together for just over 40 years.
Judy worked a few different jobs throughout her life, but none was more important than that of being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the embodiment of kindness and selflessness, traits she was proud to carry on in memory and honor her favorite person, her father, Freeman. Always putting the needs of others before her own, Judy was a beacon of unwavering support for those she loved.
As many people do, she had several hobbies. She enjoyed spending time at the bowling alley and casino, playing cards with friends, and keeping her mind sharp with number and word puzzles. Judy also had a sweet tooth which led to the creation of various treats not only for herself but for those who spent time with her.
Although her life was full of happiness and love, it also endured heartbreak. After several devastating losses through the years, Judy showed tremendous strength and perseverance. The admirable qualities that engendered her life will now live on through her children, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren.
Left to cherish Judy's memory are her children, David (Cynthia) Loubert; Cheryl (Donald) Baudoux; and Jeff Hubbard; grandchildren, Shaunna, Brittany, Brandon, Cortne, Lee, and Mollie and great grandchildren, Sylas, Addy, and Anthony. She also leaves her brothers, Pat (Marie) Ensign and Denny (Jackie) Ensign; sister, Joanne (Jim) White; dear friend who is like a sister, Antoinette Hollenbeck; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other friends. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her first husband, David Loubert; second husband, John Hubbard; sons, Steve Loubert and Johnny Hubbard; and her siblings.
Memorial services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Aldersgate Church, 2206 Airfield Lane, with Pastor Michael Sawicki officiating. Judy's family will receive friends at Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street, on Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
All of us at Ware Smith Woolever are honored the Hubbard family has entrusted us with the care of their loved one.
