Keith Yoder

Keith L. Yoder, 72, of Midland, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at his home. He was born Feb. 22, 1945 in Midland, son of the late Edgar and Emma (Shantz) Yoder. Keith was a 1963 graduate of Midland High School. On May 11, 1968, he married the former Sharon Illas at Trinity Lutheran Church. She survives him. He had been employed as a pipefitter for over 25 years with the Local Union 85 in Saginaw. After his retirement he owned and operated Keith's Towing for many years. Keith was a skilled mechanic and enjoyed working on classic cars. He also enjoyed going to classic car shows with his wife and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon of 49 years; sister-in-law, Diane (Ron Watt) Durfee; sister, Carol (Robert) Herman; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his brothers, Jackie Yoder and Karl Yoder; and sister, Audry Heatwole.

Funeral services for Keith will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3701 Jefferson Ave. Keith's family will receive friends at Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
