Marguerite Young Obituary

Marguerite "Peggy" A. Young, 83, of Midland, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at MidMichigan Medical Center. The daughter of the late Andrew and Edna (Seely) Thomas was born in Homer Township on May 10, 1931, where she was raised and educated. On Nov. 4, 1949, Peggy married Otto E. Young and after 63 years of marriage he died July 11, 2013.

Surviving are her sons, David (Nancy) Young, Thomas (Jackie) Young all of Midland; grandchildren, Benjamin (Patricia) Young and Mark Young; three great-grandchildren; sister, Phylis Young of Sanford; brothers-in-law, Curly (Bev) Young, Butch (Judy) Young and Buck (Lois) Young; sisters-in-law, Eva (Don) Searfoss and Sue (Phouc) Searfoss; and many nieces and nephews.

In keep with Peggy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private burial of her ashes will be in Homer Township Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to Greendale Senior Services. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Personal messages of condolence may be offered to the family at www.wilson-miller.com
