Ralph M. Boboltz, 90, of Midland passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 22, 2023. He was born to the late Fred and Helen (Becker) Boboltz on April 10, 1933. He married Ruth Kautz on June 5, 1954 and they were blessed with 66 years together before she predeceased him on March 5, 2021.
Ralph served in the Michigan National Guard. He was a Sergeant and rifle expert, specifically, large caliber. He was also an accomplished piano player, avid sportsman, wood worker and chef.
Ralph is survived by his daughter Patricia (Roger) Hornby, son Scott (Jamie Moore) Boboltz, grandchildren; Jaclyn (Eric) Ingraham, Angela (Aleks Kesellman) Mapes, Sara Boboltz, Andrew Boboltz, Matthew Boboltz, sister Kristine (Stanley) Waskiewicz and many nieces and nephews. Along with his wife Ruth, Ralph is predeceased by his brother, David Boboltz, sister-in-law Florence Boboltz and nephew, Gregory Boboltz.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Messiah Lutheran with Pastor Dennis Kreil officiating. They enjoyed Messiah and the many friends they had made while attending.
