Richard G. Pavlowski of Midland, Michigan, was called home to our lord on March 19, 2024. Richard was born on April 6, 1955, to Milton Pavlowski and Frances (Nicholson) Pavlowski in Detroit Michigan. Later on, he moved to Beaverton, Michigan with his family and attended Beaverton Highschool, graduating in 1973. It was there that he met and married the love of his life Connie (Hock) Pavlowski and found his other love – the Bass Guitar. Richard's unique and amazing bass playing, and loud voice blessed the Mid-Michigan area with various Country/Rock bands while he worked as a display carpenter for Design Craftsman in Midland, Michigan. Later, Richard and Connie welcomed two sons, Benjamin Pavlowski in 1979 and Joshua Pavlowski in 1985. Richard then gained more education and went into Project Management and eventually retired as a Senior Project Estimator with his own business. Richard's trade lead him across the country being able to design and build many exhibits at Museums such as the Chicago Field and Art Museum and Chicago Museum of Technology and Industry as well as the Walter P. Chrysler Museum where he drove a newly released Plymouth Prowler into the Gallery during the press opening. Many people have hobbies such as fishing and hunting to take up their leisure time. Richard's hobby was his family. Family was the most important thing in Richard's life and always came first. He was very proud of his family as his sons married and blessed the family with grandchildren to love and adore. He also loved his dogs Sophie and Grace and would have adopted the entire Midland Humane Society if allowed. Richard's love of music and family will continue through his sons and grandchildren as he sits with our lord. Richard was proceeded in death by his father Milton, Mother Frances, and Sister Linda.
A celebration of Richard's life will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 at Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St. Reverend Daniel Kempin of St. John's Lutheran Church will officiate. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Humane Society of Midland County.
