Stephanie Dawn Noragon (Kohrumel), age 49, of Midland, passed away on July 27, 2024, after a short but tough fight with cancer. Stephanie was born December 14, 1974, in Great Lakes, IL, but lived her whole life in Midland. Stephanie was quiet and reserved, never one to be the center of attention, but she was the kindest person you could meet. Even through her battle with cancer, she never had a mean word for anyone and remained the sweet, kind soul she had always been. She had a way of only seeing the good in people and was always willing to help. Stephanie was the kind of person you wanted in your corner. She was fiercely loyal and incredibly loving. Stephanie was the oldest of 7 siblings and the most patient big sister. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and all the fur babies in the family adored her. She enjoyed watching sports, like the Great Lakes Loons and Saginaw Spirit, and played softball in high school, continuing to play softball after high school in a slow pitch league with her mother, Janna. Stephanie was a hard worker, working at Aptar for over 25 years, where she made not just friends, but a work family. Her favorite job in life was being a mother. Her son, Bailey, was the light of her life, and the two of them have been a strong team taking care of each other for years. It was her great pleasure to watch him grow in into amazing young man that he is today. He has the same sweet disposition and loving heart as his mother. Stephanie is survived by her son, Bailey J. Noragon, her mother, Janna (Dennis) Hall, the hooligans she called brothers and sisters, Josh (Mary) Kohrumel, Lauren Kohrumel (Greg McKenna), Cameron (Carlie) Hall, Aaron Kohrumel, Ethan Kohrumel, and Amy (Shaun Albertson), and nieces and nephews, Julian Kohrumel, Isaac Kohrumel, Hilary Kohrumel, Ryan Hall, Dawson Hall, Liam Albertson, and Nevin Albertson. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Loren and Marie Warner, Richard Kohrumel, Regina and Frank Hammond, and her father, Stephen Kohrumel.
Funeral services will take place 11 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street with Pastor Don Duford officiating. Stephanie's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
