Clearwater, Florida - Thomas Charles Fowler Sr., 86, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. Born April 30, 1939, in Owatonna, Minnesota, to Bernadine and Melvin Fowler, he shared 67 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sharyn. A talented engineer with the Department of Transportation, Thomas helped design and build highways, bridges, and infrastructure across the country before moving to Florida in 1979. There, he grew a successful Shaklee business and pursued many entrepreneurial ventures. A lifelong railroad enthusiast, he spent more than 30 years creating an intricate model railway-now preserved at the Bushnell Station & Gulf Coast & Central Florida Railroad Museum. A man of deep faith, he was active in several churches, including First Christian Church of Tarpon Springs and Calvary Church at East Lake. Thomas is survived by his wife, Sharyn; children Thomas (Jannette) Jr., Craig (Mary "Sissy"), Scott, Troy (Tina), and Kimberly (David) Desaulniers; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Joan Hegerman and James Fowler.
