Imogene Kemper Butcher, age 88 of Worthville, Owen County, Kentucky entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Sept., 7, 2021, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. The daughter of Louis Henry and Pearl O'Banion Kemper, she was born in Owen County, on Oct. 29, 1932. She was a devout member of the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, Kentucky and was a farmer and a homemaker.
Left to mourn her passing is a daughter, Shonna Butcher (Begie) Toole of Worthville; two sons, Patrick Owen (Brooke) Butcher of Worthville and Thomas Louis "Dooley" (Dawn) Butcher of Worthville; a brother, Bobby (Ruth) Kemper of Worthville; ten grandchildren, Tara (Paul) Warnott, Bryce Butcher, Jill Butcher, Dylan Bromwell, Mallory Wilkerson, Carson Charles (Alexis) Butcher, Giana Grace Butcher, Jerusha Toole (Cody) Brown, Samantha Toole and Sydni Toole; and four great-grandchildren, Kynleigh Warnott, Kason Warnott, Beckham Perez and Lila Butcher. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Butcher (2008); and a brother, Charles "Buster" Kemper.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, at the Family Worship Center with Pastor Pat Butcher officiating. Burial was in the Dallasburg Wheatley Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may take the form of contributions to Family Worship Center for the purchase of Bibles in Imogene's memory to be distributed throughout the world.
