BOAZ - Gregory D. Graves, 64, of Boaz, Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
He was a member of Bellview Baptist Church in Paducah and a retired machinist, having worked at Southside Machine Shop for 35 years.
Mr. Graves is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rita Sanderson Graves; one son, Daniel (Kelsey) Graves of Mayfield; one daughter, Jessica (Garrett) Moreland of Paducah; three brothers, Kim (Mehl) Terry of Bardwell, Shayne (Phyllis) Terry of Lowes, and Rodney (Leslie) Terry of Lowes; three grandchildren, Clara Graves, Logan Graves and baby Moreland due in July 2026; and four special brothers-in-law, Steve Sanderson, Dennis Sanderson, Ronnie Sanderson and Larry Sanderson.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Jewell Don and Shelby Graves; his mother, Marilyn Byrd Randle; one sister-in-law, Toni Sanderson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Bobbie Sanderson; his maternal grandparents, Ollie and Lula Byrd; and his paternal grandparents, Ollis and Rosa Graves.
Graveside services for Mr. Gregory D. Graves will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at North Mt. Zion Cemetery. Bro. Bob Whitter will officiate. Interment will follow.
Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Graves, Garrett Moreland, Shayne Terry, Rodney Terry, Kim Terry, and Ronnie Sanderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Sanderson, Steve Sanderson, Larry Sanderson, and Aaron Ladd.
There will be a private family visitation.
Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
