Jackie Gargus Obituary
Jackie Lynn Gargus, 85, of Mayfield, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at his home.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mayfield. Jackie was a retired employee from the J.U. Kevil Foundation.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bettye Boyd Gargus; one daughter, Elaine Gargus Cannella of Ellicott City, Maryland; one sister, Carolyn Langford of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by one brother; parents, Burnett and Mildred Parham Gargus.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. Rev. David Whaley and Lanny Wiman. Interment followed in the Highland Park Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to J.U. Kevil Foundation, 1900 S. 10th St. Extended, Mayfield, KY 42066; or the First Baptist Church Ramp Ministries, 118 W. South St. Mayfield, KY 42066.
