LEDBETTER - Lemmah Inez Waddy, 90, of Ledbetter, passed away at 5:53 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Waddy was a office clerk at Modine Manufacturing and she was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sheila Davis of Ledbetter, Lisa (Tony) Barton of Ledbetter; two grandchildren, Daniel (Kristy) Waddy, Jennifer Davis; three great-grandchildren, J.T. Waddy, Mason Waddy, Matthew Jaques; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Pete" Waddy; parents, Russell Vernon Fiers and Dora Dean (Doyle) Fiers; one brother, Russell Deon Fiers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Rex Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter Kaden Tower, .6100 Dutchmans Lane Ste 401, Louisville, KY 40205-3284.
