Lois Mae Mariman

METROPOLIS, Ill. - Lois Mae Marlman, 86, of Metropolis, Illinois, and formerly of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Lois leaves surviving her son, Kevin (Deborah) Trovillion, Clarksville, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Ann Trovillion, Hendersonville, Tennessee; granddaughter, Kayla Dawn Trovillion, Gallatin, Tennessee; step-grandson, Justin (Cayman) Walker and daughter, Dickson, Tennessee; sister, Joyce Ann (Ron) Taylor, Vienna, Illinois; niece, Angelia Crowell, Nunnelly, Tennessee; nephews, Darren (Cara) Crowell, and their children, Marysville, Washington and Wayne (Mary) Daubert and their children, Vienna, Illinois; sister-in-law, Esther Stewart, Chrisman, Illinois; Earl's step-daughters, Pam Gloster of Viera, Florida, and Starr Wheelis, of West Monroe, Louisiana, and their families; many cousins and friends.

In addition to her second husband, Earl Franklin Marlman, she was also preceded in death by her son, Kent David Trovillion; her parents, Elmer Maurice Shaw and Anna (Harper) Shaw; her first husband, Kenneth Trovillion; Pam Gloster's husband, Art; and Starr Wheelis' husband, Gale.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis, with Joey Dunning officiating. Burial will follow in Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
