Rickey Brewer Obituary
Rickey Alan Brewer, 75, of Paducah, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Rickey was a kind and gentle soul-He never met a stranger, and he loved to meet visitors, new neighbors, and friends at Etcetera Coffeehouse in Lowertown. Rick was a talented musician and loved to entertain his friends and neighbors with folk songs on the guitar. He enjoyed acting in plays at Market House Theater. Rick had been co-owner of Hester's Spot-in-the-Sun-Resort in Fairdealing and Central Service in Kevil. Rick was also a Navy Veteran.
Rick is survived by his wife, Gaye Brewer, of 53 years; one brother, Mike Brewer; one sister-in-law, Robin Brewer; and one niece, Anna Brewer.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and June (Gilbert) Brewer.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Maiden Alley Cinema at the Market House Theater and Gangsters. 132 Market House Sq. Paducah, KY 42001.
There are no services scheduled per Rickey's request.
