Robert "Bob" Wurth, 73, of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital. Bob was born on Nov. 15, 1952, the son of the late Hilary and Helen Wurth. He found joy in his faith and was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Paducah, where he sang in the choir.
He is survived by his two sons, Robert Lee Wurth of Paducah and Joseph Wayne Wurth of Melber; his daughter, Amanda Nichy of Evansville, Indiana; his brother, Charles V. Wurth of Cunningham; his two sisters, Rita A Kuebrich and Barbara Parker, both of Paducah; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by one his sister, Vivian Stout.
A Memorial Visitation will take place at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Bruce Fogle officiating. Burial will follow the Mass at noon at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to be made to Paducah Cooperative Ministry, 402 Legion Dr., Paducah, KY 42003.
