Shirley Mueller Obituary
Shirley Ann Mueller of Paducah passed away surrounded by family on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born in Paducah on Nov. 9, 1936, to the late Louise and Solon Lane.
Shirley had a deep love for her family and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and making jewelry. She and her late husband, Robert Mueller, shared a 70-year marriage before his passing in April 2025.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Robin Brewer, and son-in-law, Michael Brewer of Paducah; a granddaughter, Anna Brewer of Paducah; one sister, Wilma Bottoms of Boaz; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mueller; one sister, Joyce Brookshire; two brothers, Kenneth Lane and Bobby Lane; and her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 8, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Waldrop officiating. Urn burial will follow the service at Houser Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Paducah Cooperative Ministry, 402 Legions Dr., Paducah, KY 42003.
