Vicki Roberts Obituary

Viki Lowe Roberts, a beacon of love and kindness, departed this world on Dec. 4, 2024, at the age of 77, surrounded by the warmth of her friends and loved ones, in Paducah. Born on Aug. 12, 1947, in Bowling Green, Viki's journey through life was marked by an unwavering dedication to her family, her work, and her passions.

Viki's story is one of enduring love and commitment. She found a cherished partner in Hardy L. Roberts Jr., her husband. Her sons, Joe Clemons Jr. and Chad Clemons, were the embodiment of her nurturing spirit, while her brother, Bryan Lowe Jr., and sister, Jenny Topolski, stood by her as pillars of support. The joys of her life were further multiplied by her beloved grandchildren, Mirza, Xavier, and Elle, who were the sparkle in her eyes.

A lifelong learner, Viki's educational pursuits at Western Kentucky University laid the foundation for a career marked by loyalty and service. For over three decades, she was a familiar and friendly face at Sears, where she not only worked but also built lasting relationships. Later, she joined forces with her husband at Flagship Printing, dedicating over 10 years to the business with the same zeal and dedication.

Viki's interests were a reflection of her inner beauty. Her hands brought life to gardens as a member of La Petite Fleur Garden Club, where she cultivated not just plants but friendships as well. Her volunteer work at the community kitchen was a testament to her thoughtfulness, as she extended her heart and hands to those in need. An avid reader, Viki found solace and adventure in the pages of books, a pastime that fueled her imagination and spirit.

Animals held a special place in Viki's heart, and she adored every creature, great and small, with a compassion that knew no bounds. Her gentle spirit was a comfort to all living beings she encountered.

To say that Viki was loving, kind, and thoughtful would be an understatement. These words, while true, only scratch the surface of the profound impact she had on those around her. Viki lived her life as a testament to the power of positivity, always seeking to uplift and encourage others. Her presence was a source of calm and reassurance, a reminder that no matter what challenges we face, love and kindness will see us through.

Viki's legacy is not one of sorrow but of inspiration. She taught us that to live fully is to love deeply, to work passionately, and to give generously of oneself. Her story encourages us to find joy in the simple pleasures of life, to nurture the bonds of family and friendship, and to leave the world a little better than we found it.

As we remember Viki Lowe Roberts, let us honor her memory by embracing the virtues she embodied. Let us be loving in our actions, kind in our words, and thoughtful in our deeds. Let us carry her spirit forward, allowing it to motivate and guide us in creating a life rich with purpose and love.

Today, we celebrate Viki, not with a sense of loss but with a profound appreciation for the time we were privileged to share with her. Her departure from this world is not an end but a transformation, for her light continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. Viki Lowe Roberts, your story lives on, a beautiful narrative of a life well-lived and love unbounded.

We will honor Viki at the 1857 Hotel from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025. Friends and family are welcome to participate in the celebration of her life.

I had the pleasure of knowing Vicki from being her hairstylist for several years. Vicki was quiet and a bit reserved until their was a topic she was passionate about. Then she would get so excited to discuss it and find out more about it. She entertained me with stories of travel especially Australia and her love of sailing and our dogs. Also her ever present book. Keep shining bright Vicki.
