Irina Maryanne Taylor

1996 - 2024

With a twinkle in her eye and an adventurous spirit that couldn't be tamed, Irina Taylor (born on March 10, 1996 in Kurgan, Russia) blazed her own trail through life. As her father, I had the privilege of witnessing Irina's spirited journey from our adoption in Kurgan, through her adolescence in Watsonville, CA, and finally to Worcester, Massachusetts. Irina had a strong personality, did what she wanted, and walked her own path. She was a friend to all her pets and animals - especially her beloved dog, Neko.

She graduated from Central Coast High School in Marina, CA. After briefly attending College of the Redwoods in Eureka CA, she followed her mother and I to Hudson MA. Irina leaves behind a sad family, including her mother Katherine Stutz-Taylor, her brothers Colin and Devin Taylor, and myself. But even as we mourn her loss, we remember how she could be an impish little devil, a dancing sprite, and a very complicated young woman all within just a few moments.

Although Irina's journey on this physical world concluded on February 7, 2024, her spirit continues. We find solace in knowing that Irina is finally at peace - her troubled times are over, and she's probably off on some new adventure, somewhere, enjoying herself to the fullest.
