Shirley Falcone Obituary
RICHMOND, Ind. - Shirley "Sheryl" Falcone, age 81, of Richmond, died Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Heritage House of Richmond.
She was born June 14, 1929, in Allentown, Pa., the daughter of Mabel and John Skethway. Sheryl attended IU East and Ivy Tech Colleges. She was a loving mother, homemaker, and member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons, Joe (Shirley) Falcone and Randy (Bev) Falcone, both of Richmond; daughter, Shari (Vernon) Meyers of Brookville; six grandchildren, Joey, Robbie, Jason, and Angela Falcone, all of Richmond, Lisa Meyer of Zionsville, and Brian Meyers, of Brookville; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Bea) Skethway of Pennsylvania and Danny Skethway of Florida; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Joe Falcone who died in 2002; parents; grandparents, Daniel W. and Katie Keller; and sons, Alan and Ronnie Falcone.
Visitation for Shirley "Sheryl" Falcone will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Father Todd Riebe officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: AWS (formerly Green Acres), P.O. Box 1252, Richmond, IN 47375 or Circle-U Help Center, P.O. Box 491, Richmond, IN 47375.

I had the opportunity as a social worker to work with Shirley while she was a resident of Arbor Trace. She was a delightful lady. Shirley will be missed greatly. My thoughts and prayer are with the family!

I know how great your loss is. I waited on Shirley when she would come into Animal House Pet Shop to buy fish. She was A delight. I always enjoyed her visits. She will be missed greatly.
