Bruce Alan Beede

Bruce Alan Beede, 77, of Palatka, passed away unexpectedly at home due to an extended illness on Thursday, November 20, 2025. 
Bruce was born in Superior, Wisconsin, to Charles and Jackie Beede and moved to Palatka in 1956. He graduated in 1967 from Palatka Senior High School and later from St. Johns River Junior College with his A.S. Degree. He retired from Seminole Electric in 2006 as Power Block Shift Supervisor, where he was recognized for his dedication and expertise. Bruce enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was a lifetime member of the Palatka Skeet Club. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Beede and Jackie Beede Kinard; and his stepfather, Carroll Kinard.   
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Donna Bryant Beede; a sister, June Ellen Beede; nephews, Steven Armstrong (Andrea), Christopher Armstrong (Tiffany); niece, Jennifer Armstrong; great-nephews, Brian Armstrong, Cooper Armstrong and Charles Armstrong; and great-niece Phoebe Armstrong.
Memorial services celebrating Bruce's life will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Rodeheaver Boys Ranch, 380 Boys Ranch Road, Palatka, FL  32177.
