Dorothy Maxine ""Dot" "Doris"" Farrar

Dorothy Maxine "Dot" "Doris" Farrar, 96, of Interlachen, passed from this life on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka. 
Born in Chicago, Illinois, she resided in Interlachen for 33 years, coming from Laurel, Maryland. Dot was a homemaker and had volunteered at the Blood Bank, the Palatka Library and with a nursing home in Palatka.
In her leisure time, Dot enjoyed crafting, needle point, making Afghans and doylies, decoupage, collecting dolls and researching her genealogy. She was also a self-taught pianist and organist and played at several churches over the years.  Other interests she enjoyed were going to live show at theaters and following NASCAR with her favorite drivers, Richard Petty and David Pearson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Farrar; her parents, William and Lillian Crofoot; a son, Joseph D. Farrar; and 3 brothers, William "Bill" Crofoot, Robert "Bob" Crofoot and Jack Crofoot.
Dot is survived by her children, Jody Garay (William A.) of Middleburg, Bobby Farrar and Jimmy Farrar of Interlachen, and Jerry Farrar (Susan) of Hollister; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Services celebrating Dot's life will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating.  Burial will follow at Keystone Heights Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m.
