Joseph Franklin "Joe Frank" Norford

Joseph Franklin "Joe Frank" Norford, 86, of Daytona Beach, FL, formerly of East Palatka, FL, peacefully went home to be with the Lord September 9, 2024, at UF Health Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, FL.
He was the son of Amelia and Henry Norford Sr. of East Palatka, FL. He lived in Daytona Beach, FL, for over 50 years. He worked at different hotels in Daytona Beach, FL, for nearly 50 years. He always loved his family, his music, and always had the most beautiful garden – that was his hobby.  
"Joe" will forever leave behind a profound legacy of kindness, wisdom, unwavering faith and discipline. His contributions on this earth will be remembered for generations to come and his impact on those who knew him well will forever be cherished
He leaves to mourn his death, his sisters, Joan N. Meeks of Jacksonville, FL, Annie M. Brown of Palatka, FL, Thelma L. Hunter of East Palatka, FL, Catherine Banks of Greensboro, NC; brother, Henry Norford Jr. of Palatka, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; his dear friends of Daytona Beach, FL, Brenda Poole and family and his neighbor of 40 years, Ruth Alphonse.

Viewing & Visitation: Saturday, September 21, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2401 Lundy Road, Palatka, Florida.
Celebration Of Life will commence at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment at Gilgal Cemetery, 111 Gilgal Road Hawthorne, FL, Pastor Jamaad C. Batts Sr., officiating.
