Aaron,

What can I say...I've loved you since the first day I met you - September 3, 1998. Not a day goes by that you will not be thought of and missed so so much. I had 6 1/2 WONDERFUL years with you, but that was not enough...I will do my best to let Hunter know how very much you loved him, and how excited you were for him to get just a little bit older so that you could take him fishing and just to hang out with the guys..He will know what a great guy you were. Hunter has started walking now, and I'm sure you see him from up there, and I know that you are watching all of us. I just want you to know how VERY MUCH I love you, and how VERY SAD I am that you had to leave so soon. I love you Aaron always and forever.

Aaron was like an older brother to me. He was always there to protect me, even when I thought I didn't need protecting. Aaron meant the world to my sister and they had a relationship and bond that the world may never know. I love Aaron with all my heart and I will do my best to tell his son how wonderful his father was. Aaron will be all of our big brother now. He will look down upon us and keep us safe and smile. It is a shame he had to go so quickly but he left a mark on all of us that we will all remember him and love him as if he is standing next to us.

Aaron-

We were so stunned to hear of your leaving us so soon. I still can't quite get my head around it. Just wanted to let Janet and Hunter know that we are thinking of them, and that our prayers are with them and with Nathan, Brett and the rest of the family. You were an amazing guy, and we will miss you, even from all the way over here .

I have bowled with Aaron and have to say that it was without a doubt the most fun I had on that league. I know Aaron seemed to really love life and lived it to its fullest. You will be missed by many.

Dear Aaron,

What can I say? There has always been Aaron Matthew and Erin Marie. I can hear our moms yelling our names as if they were standing in the other room right now. Things will not be the same and you will be lovingly missed. So many childhood memories of being tortured with lizards and anything else you and the boys could find or do, having pizza and fighting over watching 'Annie' or 'StarWars' (somehow I lost..3 to 1), seeing you come home with all your catchers equipment and your mom and dad encouraging you on being a team player, having races in the pool and watching Wicket on the boogie board, taking plenty of trips through the woods to get ice cream (even though you told me there were animals that would eat me unless I ran really fast), eating dinner at the 'big' table, and going to sunday school with our very own dollar to put in the offering basket. It's so hard to believe that you have passed away so suddenly, but we know you are in heaven smiling down at us because you had such a good heart and a smile for everyone... even when you had your thumb in your mouth!

You loved life, you loved your wife and son, you loved your family, and you delighted everyone.

With heartfelt condolences,

Erin Marie

Janet and Hunter, I am very much distressed that you have lost your "soul mate" and daddy. Aaron was one neat guy and I will miss him also.

Dearest Aaron Matthew...We've known you and loved you since you were a baby. Even though we didn't get to see you as often anymore, we will miss you so.

I saw a poem the other day and now it makes me think of you...........

" I wrote your name on a piece of paper, but by accident I threw it away,

I wrote your name on my hand, but it washed away,

I wrote your name in the sand, but the waves whispered it away,

I wrote your name in my heart, and forever it will stay." ...................................
