Family-Placed Obituary

ALEXANDER HUNTER, Sr. Age 83, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008, at 8:28 AM in West Palm Beach, FL. Born December 8, 1925 in Fort Pierce, FL, he grew up in West Palm Beach and attended Industrial High School, and later Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach to study electronics. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Following his discharge in 1946, he moved to New York, where he met and later married his wife, Virginia. After living a few years in New York, he moved his family to Florida in 1960. He worked many years as an electronics technician and radio/television repair technician. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and anything having to do with electronics. Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia; one daughter, Linda Diane (Scott); two sons, Alexander, Jr. and Richard; one granddaughter, Alexis Camille; one grandson, Alexander Cory; and one great-granddaughter, Naima Alexis. Viewing services will be held on Friday, December 19 from 5 - 8 PM, at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in West Palm Beach.
