Jupiter - Bill Ihnken, age 59, of Jupiter, Florida passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021. Bill was born November 18, 1961.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Bill, who went to be with The Lord on Monday, August 9, 2021 after a courageous battle with ALS. His devotion to his family and his unwavering belief in God carried him through his struggle with the disease, and ultimately gave him peace.
Bill was the beloved husband of Juliana for thirty-six years, devoted father to Timothy (Ashley), Paul (Christina), Katie (Daniel) and Rachael. He was a loving Grandfather to Anthony Raich, Norman Clark, Mia Grace, Paul Thomas Jr, and Theo William. Brother to Natalie, Katherine, Kimberly, Matthew, and Michael. Uncle to Christopher, Logan, and Kyler.
Bill was born on November 18, 1961 at Bert Fish Memorial Hospital in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He currently resides with his family in Jupiter, Florida. He graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School class of 1979. He began his career in the automotive industry as President and COO of TBC Corporation, President and CEO of Just brakes, and President of Service for Pep Boys Automotive. He was relentless and worked tirelessly to achieve his success.
Outside of work Bill was an avid international trophy hunter. Being in the woods was his happy place and brought him peace. He loved golfing with his friends, traveling, being at his second home in the mountains, fishing, racing, eating chocolate chip cookies, but his greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren. His generosity knew no bounds, and he would go to great lengths for his family and friends. He was one of a kind. A winner. The stuff of legends. He made those around him better. He was truly loved.
Bill is Predeceased by his Mother Martha Ruth Nuckle, his grandmother Martha Ruth Clark, his grandfather Lucius Clark, and his Father Norman William Ihnken Sr.
