C. ROBERT ROMER, Jr. Age 76, of Jupiter, FL, and Brantingham Lake, NY passed away December 31, 2007 at Jupiter Medical Center. The son of Charles Robert and Jane O'Shea Romer, he was originally from New Rochelle, NY then Mahwah, NJ and finally retiring in Jupiter, FL in 1986. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Anne P. Romer in 1999. Bob was a graduate of Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA and Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. He is survived by his five children, Diane Pao of Haleiwa, HI, Kim Flynn of Stuart, FL, Richard Shepard of Westport, CT, Barbara Buckles of Stuart, FL and Julie Otens of Warwick, NY and a sister-in-law, Elaine Romer of Wilton, CT. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Kyle, Kelly, Kristina, Bill, Connor and Dana. Bob spent his entire career in the petroleum industry with Sinclair Refining, BP Oil and finally retiring from the Coastal Corp. of Houston, TX. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM, Monday, January 7, 2008 at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound, FL. Inurnment will be in Brantingham Lake, NY along side of his wife, Anne. The family requests contributions in his honor to Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY, 10065.
