Cynthia GRANT Obituary

GRANT, Cynthia Irene
Cyndi passed away peacefully on January 21, 2016 in Jupiter, Florida. She was born June 6, 1952 to Edmund A. and Mary Rose Grant in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Lamphere High School in Madison Heights, MI and received a degree in accounting at Oakland Community College. She was employed by Gollings Volkswagon Dealership and then went on to work for her father at C&K Screw Co. She resided in Jupiter Florida since 1983 and worked as an accountant for various companies. Cyndi was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and great aunt. She took great pride in her daughter, Allyson and in all her accomplishments. Cyndi had a great sense of humor, loved to tell jokes and stories. Parties and dancing were among her favorite things to do as well. Her unique creativity has shown in her passion of designing landscapes, gardening, sewing and interior decorating. On many occasions, she would help family and friends design landscapes and gardens for their homes. She was involved in the Jupiter Landings community and kept active by running and working out at Phil's gym where she built lasting friendships with clients who have become a second family to her. Cyndi was preceded in death by mother, Mary Rose Grant and brother Cary Grant of Dallas, TX. Cyndi is survived by, husband Philip Bicknell, daughter Allyson Mary Grant, father, brothers, Charles Grant (Judy) of Romeoville, IL, Christopher Grant of East Pointe, MI, sister Cecelia Bring (Larry) of Raleigh, NC as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Cyndi was loved by all who knew her and will forever be in our hearts. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Sad news we lost a dear friend from high school. Cynthia Grant. We called ourself big five not sure why. Boy did we have fun and particle jokes we did. We had nicknames for each other. We help each other out during those years. I lost contact after she remarried and we both moved change phone numbers and life busy schedule with our family and work. Now there Facebook :) I have Been looking for her since mid 80's especially in the last 15 years but did not have her maiden name. Anyways the big five included Kathy Foriska, Winona Marie Sgambato, Deb Berzsenyi better know Debra Carlson. Our nicknames I won't put one Facebook lol but we have great memories and some of the best times in our life. We have stories. Share if u like big five. In later years Everyone but Cynthia we were able to maintain contact with and we especially look for u the last two reunions since we wanted to reconnect the group.
