Douglas Palmer Obituary
Family-Placed Obituary
DOUGLAS JOHN PALMER Mr. Douglas John Palmer entered into rest on Monday, December 28, 2009. At the time of his death, Douglas was employed by Jeffrey Allen, Inc for ten years. Mr. Palmer was a beloved father to his daughter, Rachele Palmer-Ferons and son-in-law, Chad Ferons. In addition to his daughter, he is survived by his fiancé, Michelle Colon; his three brothers, Bradley Palmer, Michael Palmer and Walter Palmer and their wives; his sister, Paige Norwood; his parents, Judy and Walter Palmer; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 3 PM at Forest Hill Young Chapel at 6801 S Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34997. He will be remembered always for his laughter and joy he brought to his family and friends. A guest registry may be signed at www.youngandprill.com. I just found out today 1/29/10 that my friend Doug is gone.I am honored to say I knew him and am able to say he was and always will be my friend. Doug was one of a kind, and for me, today is a sad day and one I will never forget. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends, the world is at a loss and the golf car business will never be the same. Doug... I know your out there somewhere I'll miss you, I love you, thanks for everything bro... I'll see you on the other side and whenever I think of you I will ALWAYS smile, R.I.P. my friend.

It is amazing that in what seems to be a short period of time I became so close to Doug. Just that statement alone speaks volumes of Doug and what a fine person he was. Of course this is not to mention what a great businessman he was as well. I/we will miss him greatly. Our hearts go out to Michelle and His family. Les, Darin and Kim the Persan Family.

There are no words to completely express the pain and sorrow that we feel with the passing of our dear friend Doug Palmer. We are blessed to have been able to share our lives with him for as long as we could. We will miss him eternally. Our hearts and prayers go out to Michelle and all of the Palmer family. When we think of Doug we think of the fun loving person we all knew...quick to tell a story or share a laugh. But we also think of the quiet,gentle man that he was... the man that felt deeply and cared about those close to him with limitless love. The side that many did not always see but all of you knew so intimately. Our thoughts of Doug are filled with images of the man who was loving, protective,kind, thoughtful... Simply put, he was so special. He will always be remembered in our hearts.
We have loved each of the Palmers since we first met you so many years ago. Our hearts break with yours, our dear friends.
