Family-Placed Funeral Notice
GLENDA WOODY BURRESS Loving mother, sister and dear friend to many, passed away on April 22, 2006 of cancer, in Lake Worth, FL. Glenda, the daughter of the late Blanche McCarter Woody and Clarence Woody, was born, raised and educated in Knoxville, TN. She is survived by her beloved family: her children Michael, Daniel and Christopher, her daughter-in-law Traci, and grandchildren Michael, Kate Lynn, and Christopher. She also leaves her siblings: Mildred Ann Glendinning of Hobe Sound, FL, Jerry W. Wilson and Donald Woody of Ivy, GA, Lynda Griffin of Lake Worth, FL, and Michael H. Woody of Knoxville, TN Glenda will always be remembered for her thoughtfulness to others and her greatest joy was giving to them. She enriched many lives. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 25 at the funeral home from 10:00 -12:00, when her funeral service will be celebrated.She will be laid to rest at Lake Worth Memory Gardens immediately following the service. I am deeply sadden with the lost of Glenda she not only was a real good friend but like a sister to me , we had so much fun and good times over the years. all the thoughts come flowing back .I am so glad that she was in my family and I got to know and love her .

I am so glad to have been apart of Aunt Glenda's life, She has a big part in me being the person that I am today. There has been a many times just the mention of her name put a smile on my face and a warmth in My heart. She sure will be missed..
