Becky, Jeff, Greg and Brad,
We were sadden to hear of Gordon's passing. We have many fond memories of Gordon and your family. Sitting for the boys, working at the pharmacy, adding the card and gift shop to the pharmacy and building your home on Lake Mangonia. Albritton's Pharmacy was always our first stop on the way home from school each day. The Albrittons are a part of our history. My God bless your family.

Greg,
Although I didn't personally know your father, I know he was a great man. The loving bond that he shared with your mother for almost 50 years is a testament to his character and devotion. I can tell by the way you love and care for your boys that he must have been a tremendous role model for you as well. I lost my father on Memorial Day of this year so I can appreciate what your feeling. Regretably, I am out of town this week but I want you to know that I am thinking and praying for you and your family. Take solace in the fact that many, many people loved and cared for your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time in your life.

We were very sorry to hear about Gordon and his passing. Growing up with Gordon was fun. I remember riding on the back of his scooter delivering Newspapers when we were at Northboro. I enjoyed the fish frys here in Keystone last year and water skiing on Lake Santa Fe.
What a gentleman he was and never to be forgotten.

Becky, I'm so sorry for your loss. Gordon played such a huge part in so many of our lives. So few people are ever blessed with such a zest for life, family, friends and the water, and that is what I will remember most about him. He always would grin and give a loud "hello, Don" every time that I saw him. He taught me so much about appreciating friends and family, and most of all about embracing the day and wringing as much out of each and every one as you could.
Gordon helped influence my own love of boats and the water, as a kid sailing on the "Adios" and watching him work on the "JGB". He taught me that maintaining and restoring a boat was just as important and could even be as much fun as cruising in one, and I will always remember that.
I remember him being up early to make breakfast for a lake house full of still sleeping guests, always being late for Kawanis meetings, and having a seemingly never ending supply of whatever he was grilling for the inevitable unexpected guest(s) every weekend.
He may be physically gone, but I'll never forget him, or the things that he taught me. He was truely a great friend.

Dear Becky and family,
I was so sad to hear that Gordon passed away. You were both wonderful friends. Gordon and I were in the same class for so many years at Northboro Elementary. We also continued that friendship through High School, and I enjoyed seeing you both at all the reunions. You are in my thoughts and prayers. With much love,

Becky, Brad, Jeff, and Greg...
Gordon is a wonderful man who made a tremendous impact in my life. Like they were to so many other young men during that time, Gordon and Becky were like parents to me as I was finding my way through high school. Brad was my best friend at the time - and Brad was and is true reflection of what great parents Gordon and Becky are. When I was in trouble - I called Gordon and he was there to bail me out - literally. I am most thankful for his guidance, direction, teaching, and friendship. He raised 3 great sons and in some ways many more.
I regret having not maintained as close a relationship with the family as I once had. The fast pace of life is no excuse.
Take comfort in the fact that, while Gordon is not here with us now, we know exactly where he is. This certainty is something which we can all know in this life when we respond to God’s call to us. What we know as death is not the end, it can be just the beginning.
My wife and I pray that for our Heavenly Father to lift the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memories of Gordon.
Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,
Capt Ted Belasky

Dear Becky and family,
So sorry to hear of Gordon's death. We have fond memories of our flying trips to the Bahamas and the sailboat race that Gordon accompanied me in that little Silouette 18 foot sailboat. We were the smallest boat in the race!
You have our deepest sympathy.

Dear Becky & Family,
We are so sad to hear of Gordan's passing. Such wonderful memories we have of time with y'all and the Northwood Kiawanas Club. Really all the way back to Northboro School.
I'm reminded of a short verse about a ship sailing of into the horizon with loved ones waving farewell on the shore. As the disappears loved ones are shouting from the other side "Here he comes"
There are many there looking to take Gordan in.
God Bless you and give you courage during your loss.

Dear Becky, There are so many memories. Gordon taught me to drive my first "stick- Shift"...he actually let me drive his red convertible! There are so many good moments over the years with our kids growing up, and knowing each other. One thing I know ...Gordon loved you very much. In the end of his illness, I understand that both of you accepted the Lord into your life. This is comforting, as we will see him again. I will stay in touch. Our sincere condolences to you and your family. My mother and I lunched at Albritton's regularly and she loved a toasted cheese sandwich and tomato soup in the twilight of her life. The pharmacy was our walk-in medical center, with reliable suggestions and remedies for our large family readily available. Albritton's will be a landmark sorely missed by all. My aunt lived on 39th Street and often walked to the drug store for milk.Sincerely, Ruth Haymond Pavlow

Dear Becky and Family:
Our Becky called me tonight to let me know Gordon had passed. The news brought sadness and many good memories. I know that Bill valued Gordon’s friendship and I remember your house as always the most open and loving home in the neighborhood. I can’t help but think that two old friends are together again and that thought makes me smile just a bit. Just know that from far away Texas my thoughts and prayers are with the entire Albritton family tonight.

Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. May your faith bring you comfort. Seeing Mr. Albritton's name brings back such memories for me. I still live in Old Northwood and just noticed on Saturday that the building was gone and "they" put new fresh green grass on the corner where the pharmacy was. It was strange but calming at the same time. I have so many memories of coming in the back door and how much my grandmother enjoyed the lunch counter - I remember like it was yesterday.....From the family of the Hon. Judge Otis Butler Russell Jr. (including my late Grandma Georgia) our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Becky & Family,
Ron and I were not aware that Gordon was ill and were devastated to hear of his death. Having just seen him at the reunion, this came as quite a shock to both of us as Gordon appeared to be in such good health and happy. We know that he is in a wonderful place, joined by his family that predeceased him. God has truly called one of the best and he will be missed by those of us that knew him. I have fond memories of him in past years and how much fun we had with him. Please know that we have you and all your family in our prayers. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and are so glad you have such a supportive family to help you through this very tough time.

It is with deep sorrow that we have lost one of the true gentlemen of this hectic world. Captain Gordon not only was a good friend but an inspiration. His smile will never be forgotten. The
warm welcome he gave us all lit up the room. We at Palm Beach Power give Greg and all his family our deepest prayers. We know Captain Gordon is still in command of his ship. Now he can see the horizon forever in peace and love. He certainly earned his pair of wings. God Bless him. Warmest regards, Charlie and crew
