September 15, 2005

I lived on Stacy street across from Mrs. Marks and the kids. My maiden name is Rice. Phyllis and Johnny were Lynne and my age. We went to school together, to church and sunday school together. Lynne and I stayed at the Mark's house for the funeral of my grandfather in 1952. I have pictures of them riding bicycles and generally having a lot of fun. I shall miss Miss Grace but she is now in heaven standing at the feet of her Lord and Savior as HE says welcome home faithful and cherished servant. She walked a strange and straight pathway thru life even when situations she truely didn't understand came her way. She did her very best here on earth and has earned her Mansion In The Sky.

It is hard to lose your mother, may your mother's best friend be there for each one of you as the days pass without her.

Blessed Be

Lorna Rice
