Being a transfer to Riviera from the Miami area I didnt have a lot of friends at first, but I was blessed that one who befriended me was Jim. I will always remember and miss him. Our loss is Heavens gain. God bless him and my feelings go out to his family. Wayne Mestrezat

As a little girl you meant the world to me, I called you my sugar daddy(how you ever got that name) you spoiled me rotten being the only girl in the neighborhood, and as the boys played you always took the time to push me on the swings. If I close my eyes real tight I can smell your pipe. I will miss you but never forget you - I have a scar on my head from stitches where I fell into your t.v., a scar on my elbow that my mom put a band aid on & to the swap shop we went where we ran into you and once agian you dragged me to the ER for stitches. These scars I have are some of the best stories of my life and i'm so greatful I was blessed to have shared them with you. As a little girl I really did think you were Santa Claus & now as a grown women I know you were one of the greatest heros to have touched my life. I can only hope you and my mom are dancing on the clouds and i'm sure shes still standing on a chair.. For all those that will miss you are yet so lucky to have known you and had you in their lives. My heart goes out to all of the family during your time of loss. May god bless you and help you heal. Love & Prayers, Shelly

Jim was an inspiration to me in the 80's when I was an Apprentice Lineman in Lake Park. He taught me about safety and quality in workmanship that helped me thoughout my career as a Lineman and Foreman. Many fond memories.
