NIX, Jennifer Diane

Passed away January 25, 2013. She leaves behind her mother, Phyllis Nix; father, Tim Nix; sister, Lesley Green; niece and nephews, Christian, Cayman, Felecity, Jesse, and Atticus; her grandfather, Jerald Nix; aunts, uncles, cousins, and her fiancé, Marc S. Reiner. She is greeted in heaven by her grandparents, Ralph Donley, Nancy and George Dalton, and Nancy Nix. Jennifer was a proud graduate of The University of Florida with a bachelor?s degree in Public Relations and a minor in English. She worked in several law firms before becoming the Executive Director of Reiner Law. Services will be held February 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Bush Wildlife in Jupiter, FL. Jennifer was a bright and beautiful soul, she will forever missed by all those who were lucky enough to know her.

I was in a familiar place on your birthday. There are not many people we knew still there. The Blue Ridge held dark and resolute in spite of a red astral complaint. A few days later I tested the skyline and recognized your smile. I do miss you so.

Oh Jen, I have been trying to find you for years and now I know why I can't. We went to middle school together and you were my best friend. My sister said she ran into you and your mom at the mall many years ago now and that's when I started trying to reconnect. I wish it would've been me that you ran into. I find myself looking back and thinking of all the fun we had. How I was always known as little missi in your house and your mom use to tease that one day I'd be taller then you. I think I eventually out grew you I send all my love to your family and finding out that your gone has crushed me. You were a big part of my life. thank you for being one of my greatest friends growing up. You will be missed but I will never forget you.

Jenni, we are complete strangers... but, I am a Mom of four wonderful children who I would do anything for. I was so touched by the story of your life and so saddened that it ended so soon. I know you suffered in a way no child should ever suffer, and it made you into such a caring and protective woman. The love and strength you had for your niece and nephews will always be remembered, and I am so glad you had the chance in your short life to love and be loved by an amazing fiance. Please watch over your loved ones, I cannot imagine how much they must miss you.

Its been one year and 3 months now. I think about you all the time. I have been thinking about Bad Tolz a lot lately and that always makes me think of you. I know you loved the beauty of that place there as much as I did. It seems like yesterday we were little girls running all over the base. I thought you were so lucky because you lived next to the park with the zip-line. The other day I read your last email you sent me. It is with a sad heart I learn of Jennifer's passing. She certainly knew how to light up a room when she arrived; even one as big as the Band Room at Dwyer High School. It was certainly a privilege getting to know her through her high school years. May her family find peace in all the wonderful memories they have of her. Rest in Peace, Jen.

I regret that we never got together in recent years like we always said we needed to. I'll forever remember our softball years, our pitcher-catcher duo team, the fun times we had in sign language, our prom and my trip to visit you at UF, even though you made me buy Gator attire!
