Family-Placed Obituary

JOSEPH M. DAGHER Joseph M. Dagher, 58 years old, of Lake Clarke Shores, FL died peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 9, 2009 following an extended illness. Born in Wardanieh, Lebanon, he was a resident of the Palm Beaches since 1976, and served as president of the Syrian Lebanese American Club in West Palm Beach as well as an officer on the board of the Southern Federation of Syrian Lebanese American Clubs. Joe earned his Bachelor Degree in Business from Palm Beach Atlantic College, Class of 1978; and owned and operated JMD Properties, Inc., in Delray Beach, FL. He is survived by his loving wife, Dolly M. Dagher; a son, Danny Dagher; and a daughter, Maya Dagher all of Lake Clarke Shores, FL. Also surviving are two brothers and four sisters living in Lebanon; nephews, George Dagher (Elizabeth) of Lake Clarke Shores, FL, Sami Dagher (Norma) of Ocean Ridge, FL, Salam Dagher (Joumana) also of Ocean Ridge, FL, and Mansour Dagher (Diane) of Delray Beach, FL; and many additional nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the First Baptist Church, 1101 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 with Rev. Jimmy Scroggins, Pastor and Rev. Jimmy Fogleman, officiating. The interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The Dagher family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the loving and dedicated caregivers from Hospice. I was sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He is now with the Lord, and out of pain.

It was a pleasure to work for Joe, he was a wonderful boss, and I know he will be missed by everyone that knew him.
