KARIN ADELE GUNILLA von POST MILLER Karin Adele Gunilla von Post Miller was born in Stockholm, Sweden on July 10, 1932 and died peacefully at her home in Palm Beach, FL on October 14, 2011. Gunilla attended hotel and culinary school; and later attended Lemania College in Switzerland. Her desire to learn languages took her to Scotland (English) and Switzerland (French) and later Germany. Her zest for life continued throughout her many worldly travels. Gunilla had a sensitive, kind, and caring nature. She was truly an authentic and inspirational woman. Gunilla married Anders Ekman, a Swedish industrialist; sadly, the marriage ended with his accidental death four years later. They had two daughters, Andrea Ekman and Rosina Espirito Santo. Gunilla later married H. Wisner Miller, Jr. and moved to the United States. They had two sons, Henry Wisner Miller, and Ian von Post Miller who sadly died at seven months. Gunilla never remarried Gunilla was a bon vivant who spent her time between Palm Beach, FL, Villars, Switzerland, Stockholm, Sweden, and Cannes, France. Gunilla once said: "I feel as if home is mid-Atlantic; I love me United States and Europe." Gunilla is a member of the Bathing Corporation and the Meadow Club in Long Island, NY and the Beach Club of Palm Beach, FL. She was a strong supporter of the Gertrude Maxwell Fund "Save A Pet", Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League; the Children's Christian Fun; and The Humane Society. Gunilla leaves behind her two daughters: Andrea Sladek, Rosina Espirito Santo; her son, Henry Wisner Miller, ; five grandchildren, Eleonore, Sophia, Eduardo, Isabel and Ricardo; a nephew, Nicholas Wallenberg; and her beloved companion dog, "Lara." Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Royal Poinciana Chapel, 60 Cocoanut Row, Palm Beach, FL.
