Larry Robinette Obituary

Larry Robinette
Larry Robinette dearest loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Friday, January 29th at the age of 81.
He was the beloved husband of Jeanie Robinette for 58 years. Born in Miami, Florida on December 19th, 1939, Larry Robinette was the second child of late Quinton Lucille Robinette and Frederick Lloyd Robinette. After graduating from Edison High School in Miami, Fl in 1957, Larry studied Banking at LSU. He grew his distinguished career of banking in Miami, Fl for 40 years where he met the love of his life and best friend Jeanie Robinette. Jeanie and Larry were married on February 23rd 1963. They settled in Hialeah, Fl where they raised their two children. Michele and Kimberly.
Larry, was in senior management at many well-known banking institutions. All that were blessed to know him knew of his recognition and called him a true gentleman. He supported all with equality and dignity and always encouraged you to see the world as it can be.
A kindhearted and gentle father and grandfather Larry's greatest joys in life was spending time with his grandchildren, taking them to the parks, attending school gatherings, cheering them on at sports/dance events, writing them poems, encouraging them to never give up their dreams. His exuberant love for life and abundance of loyalty will be passed on. He will be in all of our hearts forever.
Larry's greatest accomplishments and what he was most proud of was his life as a husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all. The mentor, the patriot, the jokester, the confidante, the inspiration. He was all of those and more. The love and devotion he and his wife shared is an inspiration to anyone who knew them. He cherished his time traveling with his family, outdoor adventures and watching his sports. The love his daughters have for him is a testament to the quality of a father that he was to them.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Jeanie; his daughter Michele Sylvia and husband Kurt Sylvia of Jupiter; his daughter Kimberly Miller and former husband Landon Miller; four grandchildren Nicolas and Marisa Sylvia; Kaitlin and Matthew Miller, Larry's dear siblings preceded him in death; Andrew Jackson Robinette and Sarah Lucille Card. Uncle Larry, you were like a Father to me when my Dad (your brother) died back in 2020. So many memories of growing up in Miami, going on summer vacations to the mountains when we were all kids and weekends hanging out at my familys house in Jupiter Farms while the kids rode horses. I will miss your personal poems you wrote for different occassions which were usually quite comical. I always left our visits feeling special - because that is how you made everyone feel. Please give my Dad and the rest of the family in Heaven a hug from me - because we all know that they were all waiting with big smiles.
